Planet Partnerships is supporting policy reform, investment facilitation, and institutional partnerships as part of Moldova’s transition toward a EU-aligned economy.

Linked to Moldova’s economic modernization strategy, our team is tasked with mobilizing investment, stimulating innovation, and facilitating entrepreneurship in green technologies, precision engineering, ICT, digital agriculture, and light manufacturing. Our work has led to financing and strategic partnerships with national agencies, leading universities, local investors, business incubators, commercial banks, and Fintech platforms. Several policy recommendations, investment proposals, and funding partnerships proposed by our team have been successfully implemented with proven results.

National Digital Agriculture Roadmap

Our team defined a 10-point plan to digitally transform the Moldovan agriculture sector, with five (5) publicly-led investments and five (5) farm-level interventions to accelerate technology uptake and improve the competitiveness of agricultural enterprises.

Innovation Park Business Plans

In coordination with government, state universities, and industry leaders, we designed business plans for two state of the art innovation parks focused on ‘AgriTech’ and ‘DeepTech’, which are currently under consideration for Ministerial approval.

Investment Fund and Digital Banking Partnership

Our team advised on the investment memorandum and fundraising strategy for a US$40 million impact fund, facilitated a partnership between a crowd-lending platform and Mastercard, and structured grant funding programs for both partners.

Green Climate Fund Accreditation

We partnered with a leading private financial institution to complete a gap analysis for Green Climate Fund accreditation, and are now actively supporting the bank to align its policy framework with required financial management and environmental standards.
