  • Reducing the prevalence of plastics pollution in the marine environment by facilitating investments in solid waste management, recycling facilities, and plastics alternatives businesses, with a US$6M capital mobilization target.
  • Designed a Private Sector Engagement Platform to deliver transaction advisory services to interested businesses, including feasibility studies, fundraising, investment due diligence, and market analysis.
  • Partnered with the largest Sri Lankan plastics manufacturer to develop a US$50M Bottle-to-Bottle recycling plant and Deposit Refund Scheme (DRS) network. We prepared a US$300,000 loan application for a plastic recycler to expand its hot washing capacity. Our team also completed a business plan for e-Bike production for waste collection in remote areas, and also developed the business plan for a US$3.5M pyrolysis plant to process non-recyclable waste at an adjacent landfill. Notably, we designed the structure and fundraising strategy for a US$5M Circular Economy Venture Fund. In addition, we submitted a US$1M grant application for a biodegradable packaging plant with patented technology for agri-waste processing and updated the business plan for the Maldives’ only material recovery facility.
